Rockets vs. Mavericks Game 2 preview

The Rockets look to take a 2-0 lead over the Mavericks Tuesday night at Toyota Center after winning the first game, 118-108.

Game 2 of the Western Conference series is scheduled to tip off at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Houston won the opener in the best-of-seven series after losing both home games last season in a first-round loss to Portland.

It's the third time these in-state rivals have met in the postseason and the first time since Dallas won the first-round series in 2005.

The Mavericks are in the playoffs for the 14th time in the last 15 seasons.

The third game is slated for Dallas Friday night.
