Houston Dash to host Washington Spirit in 2015 Home Opener

The Houston Dash held their media day to hype their second season in town Wednesday.

“I think women’s soccer has really come a long way,” said Carli Lloyd, a Dash center and midfielder. “I think we’ve got some momentum here and we’ve just got to continue to push and continue to get fans in the seat to watch us.”

The Dash team includes several World Cup players. It will host Washington Spirit at the BBVA Compass Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
