I think that bike is basically a road king, and they have rear foot rest, so Im pretty sure it's doable

Have you looked at the new Urals? Once the 2015s come in you can probably get a new 2014 for $9-10k. The new 14 model has EFI, disc brakes, and a new steering stabilizer that apparently works pretty well. So they basically made the bike so it will cruise at 70mph, actually stop, and not hit a curb. All good attributes for a bike. I would like to get the 2WD one to replace my ATV. I just use the atv to cruise around with my daughter, go fishing, ride on the beach, etc.

Yes, you can add pegs. The frame has bosses with threads in them.

Ed, it's a Harley. The parts to do just about anything you want are out there. If not, I've got a welder you're welcome to borrow.

I've ridden a Ural off-road and it's a blast, but I can't justify buying one as even 70mph isn't really highway-worthy in Houston. But, new ones come with a 2-year warranty, and if I read correctly, Gulf Coast is offering a 3 year warranty on the 2wd Gear Up model.

That said, if you decide against the HD rig setup, I've still got my CSC sidecar that I might be talked into selling if you're interested.

found this, it's a little more "me" then an HD

he just put the sidecar on, $9k just for the sidecar

so he's asking a pretty penny for a $9k bike

would be a nice ride for me and my daughter back from Macon, GA

Have any of you ever ridden in a side car?

I did once. It was like being in a 70mph go cart with no steering wheel.
It was pretty cool until the driver accidently dropped the side hack wheel of the edge off the pavement. That shook my confidence a little lol.

I only rode in my own once, briefly. Kinda fun. I don't like piloting it much though.

If the bike is located international, be VERY careful and make certain you get bike when they get money. Or be out the cash....Don't ask me how I know this.

Good luck with your project. If you wish, my bike (the Harley) is able to pull a sidecar and might be an option for you, the price is very negotiable so let me know.
