Stewart Beach, East Beach to get $41M in improvements over the next 15 years

Two of Galveston’s most visited beaches are getting more than $40 million in improvements over the next 15 years. The Galveston Park Board of Trustees approved a plan to improve Stewart and East beaches Thursday.
