Once when I got home from work I even heard my wife making funny noises in the bedroom...... now I'm divorced...... but I guess that could be a good thing......

One sprocket nut was also missing and I found 2 loose ones. Do I dare tell where I had the new chain and sprockets put on????
Do tell, I dare you...

Rather than through the shop or person under the bus, maybe the way to handle this is to contact them and see if they will make it right.
Anybody can make a mistake, how it gets resolved is the mark of good or bad service.

Of course if they don't make it right, I'd love to hear who it was...

That's where the bad things started.

Actually - "trust and integrity" have become obsolete.

Actually, I didn't throw anyone under the bus. It did get resolved by other means and I found out that later on the mechanic got fired.

Nothing is under a bus, BUT - somewhere on some road someplace there are sprocket teeth laying there. I seem to remember the "funny noise" when I was on a ramp entering the freeway.
