This is the wire hanging from the top hose. It's connected to a sensor of some sort.

Just shows one of the holes in the rear plastics missing the bolt. All of the bolts in the rear were removed sometime at the shop and never put back in.

Do you have something to add to this story or are you just playing dr. phil?

This sucks. If you bought it new you need to look for someone A/G's office or hire and attorney does lemon laws. If you bought used and it says "AS IS NO WARRANTY" on the contract, then you're going to be making payments on a garage queen until it's paid off.

I hope that this works out for you.

"Do you have something to add to this story or are you just playing dr. phil?"

Dunno, you you really have anything productive and helpful to provide yourself? I know to some foxl here, the concept of intelligent thought is a novel concept.

A bit of background...used bike, from what I understand NOT checked out by any shops, had an engine failure. Sucky situation all around, but all sides should be heard out before people start flippin out.

Aaahhh, a dr. phil wannabe, I didn't understand a word you said and I think you're trying too hard to sound smart. While you probably are, your keyboard+your lack of wit didn't help things out tonight.

It's okay I got past it.

While it's probably a good idea to hire someone to check out used bike, more often than not people would trust a reputable dealer to not screw them over with a bike that didn't make it 24 hours before it tanked.

IMHO something that serious might be something that they may have had knowledge before hand. BUT none the less they should stand good for it. They tried to fix it and failed, they should man-up and refund the money that was paid for a good used bike that turned out not to be.

I think that that should be the least that they should do, your thoughts?

I'm not sure that you did, but if you want to keep the personal shyte up
take it to PM and I'll be more than willing to dance with you instead of dumping it in public.

Obviously I don't know the full story, and I'm not giving an opinion on what 'should' be done w/o sufficient information.

I have a good customer who used to be a mechanic at bike dealer & told me so many horror stories about how new/dumb mechanics would f**k up bikes and the dealership would say "thats how it came". Told me he got fed up with that kinda atmosphere and quit. I understand that you have to hear both sides of the story, but i'll give the customer the benifit of the doubt.

ok doa and ulric, i'm gonna be the peacekeeper and ask both of you to stop. I feel everything your saying about owning up to the lemon bike and refunding the money & i feel you ulric that both sides should be heard.
"Killing hours" i suggest you do what my uncle was gonna do when a dealership sold him a lemon. he said he would paint the car yellow, and put a sign on top of the car saying that dealership sold him a lemon and leave it parked in an empty lot next to the dealership. I'm sure you can do the same with the bike.

My name is Santana, that's one of my funeral homes and ANYTIME you'd like to drop by the doors are open. I don't dance and I don't hide behind the keyboard or PM's.

Got it?

No we do everything in house, I just got back from a hospital call a couple of hours ago (went with a friend from another place to help out) and can't fall asleep. You in the funeral service industry?
