Thats funny cause the 06/07 has the damper on it and yours doesnt. Mine has never shook. I hear the 04/05's are the ones that get the headshake.

Depends on his gearing. And the book says it can go 186 top speed but have you got it to go that fast personally? Just curious...

Correct but the 06's have the same damper from the factory and one of the guys stated above "rode my buddies 06 and it shakes bad" or whatever and thats the one with the damper. I find that unlikely.

I have an 06 and it shakes everytime when the front wheel is barely off the ground. I set it at 18 clicks and it still shakes. I noticed that all bikes does that with or without damper.

Stock damping sucks. Im just used to the gpr on my 636 being so good that im not impressed with the stock ohlins damper. Either way the bike doesnt headshake but ill be buying the gpr just to be safe.

And i dont believe they had silver in 06 man. Colors were green, yellow, black and i cant seem to remember the last one but ive never seen a silver gen 2.

I don't think it's the tires. Might have been the way each rider hold or grip the bars.

I had mine repainted after seeing that it resembled the school bus and everytime people asked me what year is the bike, I would say it's an 08 model.:laughing6

I think it is more involved in the suspension settings and ride height. More weight on the front tire seems to aggravate it, altho a couple start to shake when the tire unloads.

Very strange indeed, but seems to occur on the ZX much more often than any other liter bikes.

I remember did seeing a silver model when I googled it last year. I thought that I was a Euro color.
