if you have blinkers on your bike, they MUST work. but if you take them off, you are good to go.

you need to have the left mirror to pass inspection.

o and i don't think you need your plates to get your bike inspected, i think they go off your vin.

OKAY. a lot of you guys got these rules mixed up from "what you heard" or whatever. I do state inspections, and in the states

Low beam/High beam (with high beam indicator)

visually inspect brakes, brake lines/reservoirs, tires, rims, exhaust, and anything else that may cause a safety issue.


AT LEAST 1 mirror....(doesn't matter which side) as long as you can see 500 ft behind you

IF YOU GOT SIGNALS.....they ALL have to work.....if you have none, even better.

and YOU DO NOT NEED PLATES TO PASS. i forgot who mentioned it.....but on our computer, we do have an option for "no plate".

running/brake lights that shine red


and i think that's it.....i don't actually have the manual with me, but from memory, that's all the stuff i check.
