Rockets host Season of Giving event

The Houston Rockets organization has put charity work high on its list of priorities.

It's a priority that comes from owner Les Alexander and every year the team steps up and delivers while putting smiles on the faces of young kids during the holidays.

After practice Tuesday, Rockets players and staff hosted their annual Season of Giving event at Toyota Center.

The Rockets hosted 100 kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston, 5th Ward Enrichment and other community partners.

Every kid there received a bicycle, helmet and a backpack.

Rockets shooting guard James Harden, center Dwight Howard, point guard Pat Beverley and newest player Corey Brewer took part in the event.
