M/C chase and rider lives

Houston police said they arrested a motorcycle rider on charges of felony evasion after he sped away from officers during a traffic stop Saturday morning in west Houston.

Officials with the Houston Police Department said the rider was going nearly 70 mph on Westheimer Road, when an officer tried to pull him over around 2:15 a.m.

The motorcycle rider made several U-turns before heading toward Beltway 8. Investigators said the man then lost control and laid down his motorcycle to avoid crashing.

The rider was not injured.

The comments are almost as dumb as the rider. Someone said it was probably a little 600cc bike and thats why he couldnt outrun them.

Well at least he lived, westheimer is about the stupidest place to try and run, to much traffic and WAY to many drives for people to pull out of with no warning. Plus what donte said, don't run on a 250... come on.

Yep. The old Ninja 250 and even the EX500 had a 2-1-2.

Definitely looks like a pre '08 250.
Top end of the 250 is more like 90-95. I don't know why you would try to run on one unless you knew some serious short cuts. Better off on a super moto.
