Lightbulb New AVG Helmet made in China

Hello,

Anyone has any AVG helmet; please, comment in.

My new helmet came in last night, it is made in China, date on it is 2011. I called this company in Missouri where I ordered my AVG online, the rep said AVG makes their products all over the world and this is a genuine helmet.

I can check when I get home. I know I bought mine in 12 and the date inside the helmet was 12.

Which helmet is it? I believe most of the AGV line is made in China. If it's a 2011, that means it's an older model.

The Pista and GP Tech are the only 2 made in italy that I know of.

You just bought it as new and it was made in 2011? I would be much more concerned about that. Personally I would return it.

Further research shows certain manufacturer reference or rather region. This for example is made in Italy:
AGV Grid Violin Key Motorcycle Helmet Medium AGV SPA ITALY 0361O2C0004007.

My hope is they have all SAME STANDARD TEST to protect rider's HEAD.
