im thinking about just maybe buying an extra set and painting them, and keeping my old ones in incase i ever want to go back to blue.

They're more than likely powdercoated. You could get them color chromed, polished, chromed or whatever you desire.

they use chemical stripper or sandblaster to remove powdercoating, paint, or chrome from the it shouldnt matter. i wouldnt paint them, they will chip like crackheads teeth.
