Keep your guard up!

So I'm commuting to work on the bike, enjoying the nice crisp weather when I noticed laying in the road was a big water filter, one for home use laying on the stripe between lanes. What made it worse was it was white - it blended in with the stripe. I wasn't on course to hit it and noticed it in plenty of time to avoid it had I been headed for it.

I tell people everyday it's rarely a question of your ability, but rather one of a million other little things that could take you out.

Just wanted to take a minute to remind everyone to stay sharp and expect the unexpected.

STAY SAFE!!!

Details, details! :icon_smil

This was on 249 South, heading towards Beltway 8 right at FM 1960.

Yeah, I definately should have added that.
