Installing HID kit.. and never seen this before...

I've installed HID kits on all 3 of my bikes before and a friend's 2010 R1. working on my new 09 R1 and found this beauty... (See the picture)

Suggestions, Buy new caps or cut these out and cover them up from inside w/ good ol epoxy? Ideas?

It does but the wires come out the side, kinda weird to me. Normally I've seen the ones coming of center w/ a rubber boot.

Tried looking R1 forum, should look up some more though!

ya probably is the right way to do, but darn thing is stuck a little deep so I'm very tempted to just splice the cords around.

from what i recall on ours, we didnt cut the hole dead center. we drilled the hole slightly off to the side. because once the light bulb is in place the wires come off of it side ways (*atleast ours did) your light may come straight out, you should check that before continuing. and just cut enough so the light passes through. it should have a rubber seal behind it that can fill in the gap you just cut out and once thats in place seal it and let it air dry
