CMRA "spec" racing

For those who may want a bit more action than the casual trackday....

The CMRA has 4 really great "spec" series. All bikes are modified similarly, some more than others, but rider skill takes you to the top of the podium with decent money spent. All are a blast. There is endurance racing, 2 - 6 hours, with a team. There is also sprint racing 4 - 6 laps, just you versus the competition. Sooo much fun, and a cheap (er) safe (er) way to get into racing. Come hang with the mini track crowd, it's ridiculous fun. Big bikes are welcome too!

1. GROM Challenge - Sprint race

Video has been going around the net...

2. ESS Ninja 250 / CBR250 / Ride Smart 105 with supersport rules - endurance and sprint

Here is a little taste... from my buddy Rykosen Ryan with HALFFAST GROUP (that's me on the 48 bike at 5:30 mark)

3. 300 - Ninja 300 Super STOCK rules - Endurance and Sprint

Here is CMRA's Team Unobtanium 300 Ninja vid...with teammate Braeden Ortt who is also a Pada Jr Cup Euro contender racing the Euro series on the CBR500R - at 13:13

4. 500 - Same as 300 for CBR 500 - Endurance and Sprint

Here is a vid of my newly expert level son Sid rocketing off the start thru a field of 250's, 300's, and 500's in the newly formed CMRA Lightweight Endurance series...only to get black flagged for not taking off his 3rd number from sprints

Also, FASTLINE is a great way to get into this

Great thread Peter, definitely a good way to get into racing if you enjoy throwing those smaller bikes around in those corners and much more affordable racing than the big bikes.
