Riding to the track? I'm not that brave..

I'll be riding when I get my bike unloaded at the track though!

2009 R6 Black and gold baby!

Probably a stupid question, but why not ride it to a track day? Especially if you're still running street tires, what's the big deal?? Looks cooler to trailer it? lol

Oh, I've never been that's why I'm asking btw.

your to worn the out to get home biggest reason would be if there was a get off and the bike wasnt able to make it back, something stupid like a clip on or gear shifter.

I have ridden to msrh and TWS (Texas World Speedway), (from DT so not that bad) I'm more worried about happens if I bin the bike than anything lol.

Do whatcha gotta do to get to the track , however since I got my brother into riding track also we plan on renting a trailer for the day/weekend until we can buy one for ourselves.
If it flies, floats or you're better off renting.

Other things to consider while going to track:
1. you will be carrying hydration/snacks etc for the whole day
2. Gas
3. May be a good idea to take a chair to relax between sessions
4. Added hassle of taping over/removing mirror etc to make it ok for track
5. like others said, in this heat and humidity, you will be too tuckered out by the time the day ends to ride back home. I have seen people do it-they bail a session or two early and ride home which is fine if you are ok with the other points.

I've ridden out to about 5 or 6 track days.. Msr, TWS (Texas World Speedway), gss.. There are pros and cons. Pretty much everything already mentioned. Just make sure you don't go down. Lol

I've ridden to my track days. It can be done if:

1. You're in good shape
2. You start hydrating the day before
3. You hydrate the day of
4. You don't crash
