50 acres of west edge of Galveston to be preserved

The property joins nearly 160 acres previously purchased by Artist Boat. Executive director Karla Klay says backers would like to secure more property on the bay side of Stewart Road. She says acquiring another 150 acres will cost about $4.5 million.
