Miami Crime Stoppers executive eats paper tip in courtroom

Last Friday, Miami-Dade's Crime Stoppers' top executive, Richard Masten, ate a tip instead of letting a courtroom know the anonymous tipster's name. But we wanted to know: are Houston Crime Stoppers' tipsters protected?
