I installed this windscreen:

It certainly helps. Not 30%, probably 10%.

The windscreen, taller gearing, jet kit, and a non-slipping clutch make this little bike sufficient to commute around the city.

Good for you fixing it all on your own. Make sure you change your oil and filter after that slipping clutch issue. You've probably got clutch fibers all over the inside of your motor.
