Suzuki Twin TB Sync
I've only owned twins. My first was a Honda. Carb sync wasn't overly difficult, but it required adapters to be screwed in to the vacuum ports that took an extra step or two to get set up. My DL1k doesn't require the adapters. The throttle bodies have brass nipples covered by a rubber cap. I took some 5/32 vacuum hose and connected it to the nipples, ran the hoses out the right side, inserted double male nipples and capped them.
I built my own sync gauge with 10' of 1/4" clear vinyl tubing, a wooden yard stick and ATF. Cost of the vacuum port extenders and the sync gauge was a grand total of about $10. Now I can sync my throttle bodies with the tank on by removing only the right side fairing. I might even be able to leave the fairing on if I bought one of those right angle screwdrivers.
The result of $10 and about and hour of labor (tear down, set up and sync)? Initially my throttle bodies were about 13" off. Balanced them almost perfectly, and holy $h!t. Low RPMs are smooth as butter. No bucking, farting or belching. I can actually enjoy my bike below 4k now. Try this with your I4.
