computer repair business. anygood?

anybody know someone/ anybody that runs their own computer repair business? and how well are they doing? so i got bored and decided to check out Geek Squad and Fire dog on their service prices. They charge a ridiculous amount of money to do simple basic computer repair. Installing computer ram takes 2 mins max and they want $30..... wtf?

since i work as a Repair Tech for space center. I thought about having a side job to earn some extra cash. anybody ever done this?
I believe many Harley guys spend more time revving their engines than actually driving anywhere; I sometimes wonder why they bother to have wheels on their motorcycles.

If you think you can gather a decent clientele and you are good at what you do. Then anything’s possible... I worked as a Home PC repair Tech for a small company who created software for doctors offices so he had an inside track for their PC repairs. The only hard part will be getting your name out there to people.
Ok, your ****ing sig pic scares the bejeezus outta me!

Not so much computer repair but there is a huge market for contract IT guys amongst small and medium sized businesses.

You can start with my Piece of Sh#t. I've got a couple of annoying things going on that I'd like to get fixed or the whole thing is going out the door to the street. :laughing6
