Ha bigger than me. Only time I ever wheelied my SV was on an accident. There may have been a comparison with a certain Kraze Kris's R1 happening from light to light...

Other than that wheelies are one of my fave past times on Juana Fiddy (My CRF150F)

I can't wait to be comfortable back in the saddle and pull them on the next backroad run on the new bike. I'm no stunter and I don't usually hit bp, but they are fun. Congrats...my practice spot was an empty business park back in the day.

How about who said it can't be? If it'd been in stunting, Id left it alone...
Howver I did not insult or attack the OP, but posted a question for him to consider.

...the drama comes with the hypocrisy from you icons of enlightenment (read that as cranial-rectal inverted fuktards).

It will.
My 1st Gen FZ1 would do the most beautiful 2nd gear wheelies at around 60 mph. 140 is easy too. Get down on the tank, twist the throttle and don't let up until you see Jesus.

Of course either of these activities will land you in jail, therefore they should only be done on private roads in Mexico.

To the Op and others...

Be aware if a cop sees you pull a wheelie, you will very likely go to jail. Just FYI

I know you were asking this of the OP, and I'm not trying to stir up like most of the responses you've gotten, but if one is actually learning to be in better control of the machine through throttle / clutch control and balance, it can only make for a better rider. It's just as important to know what is going to put the machine out of your control as it is to know how to control it within (objectively) sane limits.

Pulled one today on the SV. Got stuck behind couple of idiots that stopped at the Hillcroft entrance to the 59 HOV. I'm normally reasonably patient, but 47 cars, trucks, buses and Segways zoomed by and the idiots still wont move. Da heck with this, I pulled around them and popped the clutch...

I can definitely imagine it catching a whoolie virgin off guard and made him pay a hefty tuition. So, I say whether you enjoy it or not, it is good to know how to do it and how it feels.
