A slightly larger frame, like the ttr125, or CRF100, or even the almost full sized CRF150F gives you room to move and be comfortable.

Doesn't matter what class you run. Just get out there and do it on whatever you already have. TREY
Hmm now that isn't a bad idea... harley street tires you say?

does TMGP require a clutch for the bikes? i've found several klx 110's but aren't the"L" model with the clutch wondering if this is a problem or not?? i know they can be modded to have a clutch but to start out with would this work?

Are they going to let me in with my Modded out KLX-110? It's a 143 big bore kit w/ a nice sprocket uprade.. and..... 4 speed manual transmission

ALSO!
What is everyone doing with the wheels on this thing, they are obviously two different sizes. I dont want to spend the money on the KLX85 front end nor 800 on rims. Any suggestions? Run staggered?

that bike can run F5 and Unlimited...
here is a link where the classes are posted:
http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=223731

most guys tend to run 12" wheels and tires on the klx bikes.

Rob or Vaughn might be better able to answer this one...I do not think a clutch is required...i know that there is one kids class where they are not allowed...the klx is a very popular platform in TMGP

A clutch isnt nessary but is nice to have and not that expensive. . Maybe 150 bucks, I rode without it for the first yr. Downshifting into turn one locking up the rear was always fun!

If ya got aanymore questions about klx's shoot a pm with ur # .. be quicker and easier, lol
