i am excited and looking forward to it...my ribs should be all healed up by then...
rubbing elbows or like Deano, grabbing elbows when he is next to you....
hoping to see rob's bike back together and mixing it up in novice for the last time before you guys move up to expert...
looking forward to see how much Paul improved in his second race weekend...
should be a great weekend

I should be out there too...looking forward to some more close racing.

Obed isn't going to let you guys forget to move up to Expert next year.

Has anyone else noticed the Gulf Coast Karters site is down? I ordered one of those Takegawa shocks for the XR100...it should be here later this week and I wanted to try it out. I don't know when the karts will be racing though.

they are having a big weekend at the kart track this weekend... BBQ and free trackday saturday and racing sunday...my ribs are feeling better and i was thinking of going out to practice, but it looks like that will not happen this weekend....
and no, i am not letting those guys forget about moving up to expert... i am getting tired of seeing the rear of the same bike all the time...hehehe

are those the shocks from MiniMob.. if so I will be interested in seeing how that works out.

bike still needs to be fixed but I will atleast be there for the endurance race

there is no point in me racing novice so if the bike is fixed there will be no need to worry about my rear wheel

I do not get close enough to your rear wheel to worry too much, mostly I see it from a distance...

That is the shock minimob sells. I haven't seen any reviews on it but figured it has to be better than the stock one. They said the spring rate should work for adults, but I'm not sure what size adults...hopefully if it's too soft the BBR spring will fit.

Did something else break Rob or are you still getting the head back together? Hope you can at least make a couple of sprint races.

Rob,
Lets plan on early next week to get it done. I believe I have an extra head gasket and base gasket, but if we have to we can order an aftermarket gasket set from Moose, Wiseco, Cometic, or Athena and most all of those are available from Parts Unlimited or Tucker Rocky.

I was gonna text you anyway, but read this and just posted here instead.

Steve, when i talked to them about that shock, they told me that the max weight it was designed for was 190 lbs, including gear... too light for me...
they told me that some of the flat track riders who used it had found a source for a heavier spring, but they have not been able to find out whose spring they are using...
I have heard it rumored that EBR down in league city can custom make a spring for your weight... they also said the shock could be adjusted to add up to 1-1/2" in heigth to the ride of the bike...I will be curious to see how that works out for you as it is the most reasonable priced shock out there with the most adjustments for the crf100

man, sorry to hear that, the bike looked like it was running good last sunday....if you are still thinking of an f7 bike for next year, check out the tmgp forum... darrin cooley has a set up klx for sale. not sure what he is asking for it, he did not post a price. he also has a ysr rolling chassis that a motor could be put in and used anywhere from f7 to f5 depending on the motor
