I pay $45 a year for my AAA coverage. I mainly got it for my grandmother cause she is always worried about the weirdest . So she can call them instead of calling me . It covers any vehicle we drive, even if im riding in someone elses vehicle. Helps tremendously.

Ran out of gas 3/4 of a mile outside of Refugio, TX and it was up a steep hill. So i call AAA and they brought $9 free gas. Thats the only time i used it on MY own vehicle. The other 6 times have been in friends cars. I dont get 100 free miles of towing. I only get 50 miles. Unlimited $9 of gas when out of gas. If battery dies they bring me a new battery (only once every 2 years :( ) I also use them when i have been heavily drinking. Cause they will come get me in a tow truck and tow my car and me home. Use that at least 10-15 times a year. Or they will pay a cab to take you home and then back to your car in the morning. I prefer the tow.
