Put a dab of silicone over the end of it.
Fwiw if you lose it again you can put safety wire arond the grooves the clip set into.

Make sure its on the right way and cover it with RTV or silicone. It will stay put then. Clean the link with brake cleaner or similar before you silicone to. You want to make sure the sticks to the chain.
