Many of you probably saw my post about street riding. Is it really worth it?

Track riding taught me a lot and has been very enjoyable. It has helped my riding technique and safety while on the street, how ever doesn't prevent people texting to pull out in front of you and cause these type of accidents. I have often considered to just stick to the track. Even though there is a chance of injury, I feel it is much safer and obviously in a much more controlled environment.
