ah , so who was it. fess up now

had a great time today, although forgetting my gloves and playing catchup with u guys meant riding solo through the forest and getting lost since i haven't been to yankee's in 4 or 5 years. i almost forgot how relaxing it is to just cruise the forest and not go out until today. thank mr weather cooperated for most of the day, it made for a very cool ride. hope to see everyone soon.

It wasn't the guy with the flat tire I followed was it? If so that would be double bad luck

Negative, we went down 90 and I lost him. We had just filled it up with air for the 2nd time so pretty sure he wanted to get home before it went flat again.

Looked like a blast.
I got tied up with other stuff. Maybe next time.

As for riding 2up... yeah... doesn't let you move around much to stretch or anything. My girl and i have done Houston -> shiner/shiner -> bluebell/brenham -> katy... a couple times. That's rough (but totally worth it )

That sounds pretty awesome... I was thinking about doing Luckenbach sometime soon... so I can be that annoying tourist that orders a beer and plays that song...

Shiner tours are M-F only, at 11:00 and 1:30 or something like that. Tour shiner at 11:00 Then you grab a lunch (just don't take TOO LONG) and make it to the last Bluebell tour at 3:00.

The flat tire brings up a good point . I know this is a threadjack but if we were miles away from a station to air up the tires who would be willing to use those tubeless plugs and mini air cans to get back on the road? Thinking of carrying a kit on my bike for such occasions.
