I ride with my headphones in and the radio on if im going on a long drive. But i dont listen to it MAXED out or anything, I can still hear everything around me. But i do notice that I tend to drive faster with music on , since the motor doesnt sound as loud when i have my earbud's in so i rip back on the throttle a little harder

Yep. Keep loud enough low enough if ya know what I mean. I can hear everything that goes on around me plus the music. Now I have to have music when I ride, doesnt feel right without it.

yep...I have my mp3 plugged into my Chatterbox. Great sound and it does not interfear with any ouside sound. With stereo headset, you can keep the volume low and still pay close attention to the road!

Have new blackberry phone and went to buy headphones for mP3 player. The sony ones I got don't fit but I was sure I saw Swift with the same set as they fit over the ears. Do I need a converter or a different set.

I don't know about everyone else but, if I have it loud enough to hear "at speed" when I stop, it's way too loud. That makes me worry about damage to my hearing. Since I work at the airport I don't need any extra help losing my hearing.
If it's not loud enough to hear at freeway speed then what's the point anyway?
