I got a Cortech GX Air series 2 jacket cheap - $120. Zip out quilted liner and rain liner. With both liners out, it's as cool as you can be with any decent protection. With both in, I rode winter mornings last year below freezing.

I used to just have a teknic perforated leather and it sucked during the summer. I got a Joe Rocket mesh jacket and I found myself riding a lot more during the summer because it wasn't so unbearable

I just got the Rev'It Airwave Jacket from RevZilla. Aside from the european backwards zipper... it's a great hot weather jacket. I love it.
