Please take some of that money and buy yourself some more protection a riding jacket, gloves and some boots at the very minimum. Road rash hurts bad, and you want to be able to protect your feet.

Welcome to Motohouston. Make it out to a noob ride or to a meet some time.

congrats on the bike. You need gear before any modifications. Motorcycles Unlimited can help you out with both. Please be safe and use caution. Respect the bike and come out to our meets. Look forward to meeting you soon. Welcome to our MH community.

Yea, I'm really limited on time. School in college station on weekdays and working all day Friday and Saturday. Sunday I'm back to school. But I definitely will invest in a jacket and some kind of riding pants. Along with the helmet.
I'll try to keep up to date with this forum and hopefully I can meet a few of y'all at a meet. I think I need a little more experience before I head out to the streets/highways and/or far from home.

Welcome! You'll find a lot of great info here and meet some really cool people...The single most important bike mod imo is you... Get the gear, all of it, and wear it every single time!!!

Get Gear, Learn to ride well first all before mods... mods won't do you any good without skills and will make you even sadder when you drop your bike from inexperience and damage all the extra money you just put into the bike...
If I can't eat it, race it or sleep with it then whats the point?

Motorcycles are like women... once you ride one... you wanna ride em all.
