wait, for or against?

Is this because they are too bright - or is it a "color" issue (blue tint)? Where can one go to look up the laws regarding min-/ maximum brightness levels for lights if that's the issue?

doesn't matter they are illegal no matter the color, unless they came on the car as OE even "retrofit" kits are illegal.

I don't think many officers would hassle you unless they are really blue. Having blue HID is counter productive anyways. Stick to 4300k-5000k and you'll have the brightest whitest efficiency and cops won't pay too much attention.

I just got pulled over by trooper the other day in the truck leaving the ballpark.. He gave me a warning on my lights, but wrote me a ticket on my speeding..
I got HID 35 w 5000k in headlight and fog lights. Said I blinded the shiznits out of him, that they were illegal. I was told to take them out.. It's going to take waayyy too many cops/tickets in the Houston area to make those things illegal.
I put them in because my safety reasons and ya they look cool, who cares lol

You get less hassled if your heaflight is the projection type. Projection type are linear focuses and pointed straight where as the rest go everywhere!!
