Rio Bravo video 1 - 3-26-12

Lostner, cote, cdnbacon, myself and several others were gettin dirty today, my first time on a MX track, then hit some trails for tons of fun and lots of dirty stuff once again..

keep in mind, i've never ridden like this before, i don't do jumps, i hate gravity, and i'm trying to learn how to attack a berm.

just started watching, lol @1:35-1:40 bet your puckered there....back for more commentary in a moment.

@ 3:10...stay on the throttle a sec longer. land on top of that step up and then be ready to attack that berm. back in a minute.

same with 3:48...gas little longer and clear that double!

what the ? watched all the video and not one crash?

For real though, looking good for your 1st time out on a mx course....however, the GP track (or whatever they call it there at Rio) are like mx tracks for trail riders....like us. Great place to earn cheap seat time, on your watch, and when it gets hot out....jump in the on site pool.

I'll be joining ya'll sooner than later I hope. Wish I could have joined ya'll today. Prime riding season right about now. Keep it safe James!

Dbuck, i did have one "fall over" as i stuck my front tire in a rut wrong so i fell over, unfort. i thought i was rolling video but it didn't record.

cdn, i have plenty of trails vids, i just haven't done them yet, this one took a while without editing it, i'll try to work on the trails vids tonight when i get home from work.. next time out, i'm wearing my chesty, hopefully it'll give a better idea of the inclines that we encounter, the helmet cam just can't give any idea what we're up against.

yeah, that one hill was fun even if it wheelied away from me.

It was a fun day, although I'm feeling it today. Once the battery died and no more electric start, I was getting really worn out fast from that return run in the woods. Picking up that bike a few times in a row in the mud and then kick starting, ugh. worn out!

sweet vid james. it took me an entire morning to finish watching it.

the soil looked great! and they changed up a few things since I was last out. It looked great. I was too lazy to get all the stuff done around the house to even propose the question.

You are not afraid of the throttle at all. A couple of times I thought you were going to charge the doubles and clear some tables.

Thanks for the vid. It made Monday morning doable.

The did change the track, right off of the back stretch. Threw me for a loop on my first lap of the day, I was like "whoa...to the right to the right!"
