Unhappy Wrecked last night (Cage)

Thanks to the rainy weather and a lucky dog, I was in my first accident (in 10 years of lots of driving) last night. I know, go ahead and laugh about how subies are NEVER supposed to lose control, but a quick, instinctive jerk of the steering wheel sent me into a chain of 2 over compensations and into a tree.

I guess I'll have to find out in a couple days if she's totaled, but I have no clue what I'll get to replace her. Maybe just a newer Subie wagon.

I hit a 100lb Rotweiler last year at about 60mph on the Hardy Toll road in my G35 Coupe, he just ran right at the front left side of my car like he was going to attack it. Did about 4k in damage. I'd had the car about a Month and a half, at least in my case the offending party got thiers too...... I was sad for the dog though....
You should have that looked at....

I ran over a dog once with no chance to avoid it. I was pulling a horsetrailer with a 1200 lbs horse in it and all I could do was slow down while the dog tried to bite the tires. I ran over him going 40-mph and he died while I was carrying him back to the house of the owner (it was in the country). It was terrible.

I am sorry about the car. That really bites. Just look at it this way, if one door closed, another opens... of a new car!

surprised the subie AWD let you down....we used to have an '02 WRX (brand new when the first came to the US) and used to race a '92 GSX (11.80's in the 1/4)......
