Sherman's 2008 R6 Track Build Thread

I just realized I never started a build thread here so.... here we go! Let's catch up to speed.

Long story short, my first bike was a 2008 R6, got into an accident, sold it and then managed to buy it back. So here it is!

3/10/11

My GPR damper

Started stripping down the tail section today too. Removed the passenger pegs and fender eliminator kit.

N-Tec take offs (tread wasn't done by me lol)

I decided to hold off on the track plastics, as I am too slow to be needing those for now. So as of right now, I will just be sticking to trusty ol' painters tape.

Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen

Ballistic battery 4 cell

No-name brand shorty levers

My GoPro (one of the few locations I will place it at. Any other suggestions on where to mount? I would like somewhere to view the speedo)

So.... I crashed today

Important thing is....... my Graves is okay For the most part. I took a turn too hot and the bike slid out from under me and I slid and tumbled for a bit. Luckily my Dainese suit had those plates on my shoulders or my shoulder would of been focked. In all honesty, it was kind of fun. I knew I was going to crash eventually and I'm glad I'm fast enough to actually have a real crash

Here are pics of the bike. My friend told me all I really need to fix is the fairing stay, brake reservoir, intake and..... race fairings.... finally
