i think (and i definitely could be wrong since i havent done too much research) the easiest, quickest solution right now for iPhone is "Find my Friends" app from Apple. There is obviously no tumble, crash or fall notification, but if you and your significant other, or riding buddy add each other and somehow get separated or if your significant other see's you've been at one spot too long without txting or calling, these would be red flags to find out whats going on.

True.... and google maps "latitude" works the same.

In fact, when I texted group 2 saying that group 3 had broken down... my brother checked latitude and knew where the break down was based on my location.

We TRY to make sure our satellite and latitude are turned on when on the bikes... also because we don't answer calls/texts while riding. Also, worried Wifey's like being able to see the little dot moving down the road too.
