Glad you were not crushed completely by one of the biggest trucks known to the streets of Houston, and are still able to post the story with us. Got any pictures?

hope you have some substantial documentation, since the police couldn't determine fault the tow truck owner will likely raise and not want to go through insurance (assuming he has insurance).

I had the bike for about a week. Inexperience? I agree ill take it lol. Im not mad though. Im not really expecting his insurance to cover my bike. I just got back from iraq a couple weeks ago and i got some change i can use on the bike. The dump truck was fine. No damage at all. My bike wasnt in mint conditon. It had minor cosmetic issues so ima take this opportunity to make it better. Im just glad im okay!

Honestly if its rideable and the plastics aren't in danger of flying off I'd leave them for a while. Wouldn't want to spend money on pretty new stuff just to drop the bike again while you're still learning.

Glad to hear you're okay, this could have been a lot worse. The people out there are not motorcycle friendly. Live to Ride, but Ride to Live!

How long were you in Iraq? Civilian or Military?
