That is a lot of storage space. My bike looks so outlandish with saddlebags and a big tail bag.

I love the white color on it.

Yeah I did.
It's funny, my wife didn't want me having a motorcycle but she became content with it over time. I kept trying to get her to ride with me and she wouldn't. Since I bought the goldwing she immediately bought all of her own gear and loves riding. She bugs me to go riding these days.
Now I just have to get her to buy her own bike and get off of mine. Lol

Yep, plans are in the works to buy my wife a bike. She wants to ride but she wants to ride her own. She has pretty limited experience so I want to get her something easy to ride but that she won’t outgrow too quickly. Not sure what yet.

Thanks. At my age comfort is pretty important. Although the bike will still roll triple digits but some days I have a hard time making it to the living room...😏

Ok. I was thinking good ergo's and weight while not having enough hp to overpower her.
Maybe a Boulevard?

Yeah, I like that idea as well.

I’ve been reading a lot of good things about the Bolt as a good first cruiser, thoughts?

Doing some quick searches I'll tell ya a couple things I found. Whether they are 2020 current I don't know.

I compared the Rebel 500 and the Bolt.

The engine on the Bolt is twice the size as the one on the Rebel.
The Bolt puts out roughly 65hp and the Rebel puts out roughly 45hp.
Seat heights are the same. The Bolt weighs over 100lbs more.
The Bolt is air cooled and the Rebel is liquid cooled.
Lastly, The Rebel gets better gas mileage but also has a smaller tank.

With roughly the same ergo's, I dunno what to tell ya.
I have found I have more fun on the smaller lighter bikes than I do on big bikes. Also in the Texas heat the liquid cooled may be better? I dunno. Someone can educate me on this if I'm wrong.

I don't think air cooled will be an issue. My HD was air cooled and I never had any overheating issues, even while sitting in rush hour traffic after work.

I would suggest considering something that has passenger room... You never know, you might ride her bike every-now-and-again and she might want to go for a ride with you
