Honestly the OP never sounded like he was bashing on anyone in anyway in his first post in this thread.

I think he was just kinda of annoyed by the situation. Which is understandable.

I would be too. I think it is good that he posted this thread so that others know to be VERY clear when situations like this occur so that someone doesn't end up wasting their time.

But it does sound like a communication error to me. It happens. At least the other guys are willing to make up for it which is nice.

Good on the OP for lending a helping hand. Good for the WFO people for stepping up and clarifying things.

There's always two sides to the story, so please refrain from jumping to conclusions and judging the other side before they get to speak.

I knew there were other people on the way, but didn't know it was a truck that could have done what I was planning on doing (loading up the bike). I'm not and never was, talking any . I just initially thought I was going to 83 - not all the way to rocksprings. Though that wouldn't have mattered - I would have come anyway - it just would have let me give a better estimate on the time.

All I'm saying is that if I'd known another truck was coming that would have maybe kept me from driving out there.

(and wish you'd have asked me for smokes - I had plenty)

Again, thank you for stepping up. If you really knew the group you would have driven four hours to help out. That's how close knit we are. We sincerely thank you again for driving the distance not even knowing who we were.

On a side note, these events are planned twice a year. Everyone off all riding levels are welcomed. The name is not what we are, it's who we become.
