i was in the same seat before i made the choice on my r1.
all great bikes with different personalities but imo honda and yamaha have slightly better materials & finish.
i can tell you it is very satisfying rolling on the throttle outta corners on my R1.
course im a little biased though

there is only one place that I will go and I always will keep going... Team Mancuso SW.

You as a customer will need to find out who has the best price in town.. if this place told you that a new R1 cost 13k and Honda west got one for 10k then HEY! go there and get it for better price.. but just because they didn't give you what you wanted to pay for doesn't mean that they didnt care.

I only have good things to say about this guys..
My buddy Dave got his V-max from them for $23k and my buddy Failso Got his R1 from there as well.. I got my R6 with 2k miles on it and now has 35k miles on it and they have been the only shop that worked on it other then me.. I try other places but they didn't give me a good taste let say..

Talk to the right people and you'll be well taking care of...

GOOD LUCK! and hope you get to ride a new toy very soon..

there is somewhere on line about the two bikes going head to head.. they talked about how the R1 is a great TRACK bike and How the ZX10 was a better Street bike for been much lighter then the yamaha.. I wish I can find it..

My self I was going for the kawasaki because its lighter.. I always liked the R1 and now I am looking to get ether an 04 (that some of you have seen me on) or the new model.. but I just dont see my self paying monthly payments all over again.. lol just finished paying my R6 and My car.. it feels awesome!!
lol
