It was on the news someone having their helmet strapped to the back of the bike and laid it over pretty bad.

almost always doesnt cut it. Im not coming down on you though man, its your life and your choice and no ones business to tell you you HAVE to wear a helmet.
just remember. a 15 mph impact to the head can kill you.

It was some freaky chain reaction type accident. Something flew off of one car into the opposite lane of traffic causing an accident between two cars. Then three motorcycles crashed into the two cars. From what i read in the paper, no one was killed in that accident.

My friends were leaving Galveston right then and were stuck on the freeway for over an hour while Lifeflight was called.

if im goin for a ride further then two blocks i wear my helmet. in the pits at the race track i dont wear a helmet. thats what i meant by almost always

Again, I wasnt trying to come down on your man. I just dont want to see anybody get killed out there, I didnt know when you werent wearing it, and in the pits at the track is probably a pretty safe place to go naked-headed!
