Cheaper motorcycles in the winter?

Since a lot of people seem to view motorcycles as a seasonal thing, such as jetskis (I'm not one of these people but hey, to each his own), do you think it'd be possible to work a better deal on a new motorcycle during the winter months, when their business is probably down?
Maybe, some day, one of my vehicles will work properly.

I would guess during model year change. In Houston I would imagine pricing isn't much different due to our great weather.

I'd look at used for d best deal.

I bought my bike brand new [ 2007 model ] in 2008 , september , got a good deal.
Just saying.
Sometimes you can get a good deal on a previous year bike that hadn't sold.
My bike had less tha one& half miles on it ,sitting on the showrrom floor.

OF COURSE, BUT I'll say that the winter season doesn't play nearly the same role as it does here in the south like it does in say, Chicago....cuz in TX we ride yr round, minus that 2 weeks of sub freezing temps.

Dear OP,

End of the month.
Rainy day.
Right before they close.
Cash/Check in hand and shown to dealer.
Don't let the dealer know what bike/color you really like.
Claim you want to finance, then pay cash <---"The Shocker!" +2 bonus points.
Have a list of other bikes/dealers you already brokered a good deal with.
Go with a brown/yellow friend to intimidate.

[rant]Just don't start your haggling off by asking "what's the least you'll take?"

Geeez. That drives me nuts. Get some bargaining skillz already people.

you might be able to get a deal like an exhaust put on or something included with the sticker price. Ive gone into Yamaha and seen new R1s with Akrapovics or Graves exhausts on the showroom floor.
i think this makes him look human. you always get people thinking they soooooo perfect, well your not. at least Obama was cool enough to be himself. thats why i look up to him, he's like an average black male but with intelligence. -Actual Quote from a Barack Obama supporter
