Exclamation 3090 Warning

The drought and some new asphalt patch work / gravel has really jacked up the Southern section of 3090 just North of FM 3455. The surface is uneven in the lanes. A rider on a Duc almost went down as we were headed back to FM 3455. We were going slow as we had already ridden through there on the way to Yankees. That last 15mph left hand turn before you get to FM 3455 is really bad. The outside of the lane is lower than the inside. If you're braking and your front tire hits the high side of the pavement your bike is not going to like it. Be careful if you ride that section of 3090.

Yep, right around that little dinky bridge.

Try to not be on your front brakes coming into and around that turn, or you'll be in for a battle.

The first time I went through it I was yelling a very long "fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu**" into my helmet.

Man, you weren't kidding! Went through there this morning. Uneven road surface, loose asphalt everywhere and if you go off, you're history.

Further North, near the intersection with 244, there was cow walking across the road! That could get real bad, real fast!

That's the spot. We rode it again today heading North but on the return trip we skipped the Southern end and stayed on 149 back to Anderson.
