Barber in August

Anyone else going to Barber in Aug? Live in Spring area. Was thinking, share a ride or meet there. I think my brother is even coming down from Illinois. He was there at during the superbike race a few weeks ago and caught qualifying. He said I see why you enjoy the sport. By the way, anyone else with video from beginner group at TWS (Texas World Speedway) on 7/2? I will try to post my video. Never tried yet. Barber can not be any hotter than it was that day

I did a TD at Barber a couple years ago.

It was 107 in our pit, in the shade, just as humid as Houston too. 107!

I was drinking a liter+ of Gatorade between each session and didn't pee til late afternoon. Be ready when you go. There is NO shade in their pit area so you have to bring your own.
Unless things have changed you needed a loong extension cord to run power in the pit as well. If that's still true remember that to run tire warmers plus a fan you will need a heavy cord to carry the power or it could overheat.

It's all worth it though. Barber is as awesome as people say...
