I've heard lots of good about them. I haven't gotten to ride one yet though. Supposedly they did wonders to the low-mid range power on the bike, a lacking feature of most kawis.

I forgot which mag it was in, but it got a really good write up.. I mean like makes you want to go out and test drive one to see if it's all that the writer said it was.

Bike(s):
2006 GSX-R 1000k6
2003 Kawasaki ZX6R -- trackbike
2009 ZX14 -- STOLEN -- never recovered
2008 Hayabusa -- STOLEN -- frame recovered

It needs a fender eliminator kit and an aftermarket exhaust. Beautiful motorcycle otherwise. I would love to have one but it's probably too tall for me.

Totally different class of bike. The Ninja 1000 is basically a fully faired Z1000.

That's because it pretty much is a Z1000.

Everything I've read on KF from owners shows they really love the bike. Good power everywhere and comfortable while still able to play with full on supersports at anything less than absolutely ludacris speeds.

Had a road test in one of the mags between that and a FZ1 and they liked the Kawi better.

Usual complaints.. needed a better rear shock, tires were "ok"

Said it wheelied real well

I think it would make a great all around toy.

heck Chris.. it would even come with an up to date registration..

Red looks mo' betta..

This is what I was thinking. I'm digging it.

What's different between this and Z1000 spec wise though?

According to the tests I've read, same same.

The Ninja has a little thicker seat, 1 gal larger tank, and the fairing with adjustable screen

suspension and motor are the same

I am waiting till next month, and i pay off one of my current toys. But i want the 2011 ZX-10R. Great reviews, lots of people raving about them. I am not a fan of "ghost ninja" riding in all black, or the Kawa Green. So i have been drafting a custom paint scheme, with different colors the past week.
