Resurrection of the 2005 r6

First off, I would like to thanks Rykoson for a bad deal on the bike. http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=158162

Second... sorry for the big pictures. lol

Bought the bike last month in this condition.
first four pictures are rykoson pictures:

it didn't start but i knew it was electrical problem. I took off the plastic the next morning. Spent an hour on it trying to figure out what's wrong it. Finally the problem was solved and the bike started up. Test road it around the block; ran like a champ.

Got some parts and putted it back together within a couple of days.

Bike look good here, but the quality of the picture suck that's why.
I took it from this side because the plastic on the other side was not in good shape. Got insurance on it the same night and road it for a few days.

now, I have to fix the bike and make it look decent.

got an extra side plastic. luckily it was the side I needed. (not pretty, but it work.)

stripped it down and prepare for the work.

I used the tape to hold it in place while I weld it from behind first.

same for the upper.

welded and bondo to hide the line.

upper is welded, but need some bondo work.

Spend the next few days working with bondo and sanding. My right arm is ripped now .

pulled out the Sata Jet Digital along with the 60 gal tank and lets the works begin

finally finish products will be when I get a hold of a better camera than the crappy Iphone 3.

Ahh Rykoson told me about the bike he wrecked. We took the MSF together last year. Wow I didn't know how bad it looked. Jesus. Good luck on the rebuild and keep us posted on your work. So far it looks like it's coming together great!!

Most of the parts were salvageable. the rest were either ebay, r6-forum.com, spare parts that I already have, or PNP cycle (best price in town, even beat ebay and forums prices).
