Will 08-09 r6 fairings fit 06-07 r6 fairings?

i have a 50th avn 06 r6 that needs fairings.. and i came up across a great deal on some oem 08 fairings. Will these just mount right up ? looks the exact same to my naked eye... any advice or tips will help thanks

the tail is different and the seat, i was thinking about the same thing but looking at the bikes where everything mount i really dont think so.

however...... an 08 motor with engine harness will fit right up! (hint* hint*)

Negative Ghostrider. I have both year blocks, I wish they did, lol. Most of the hard parts translate though!

I have installed 09 fairings on a 07 but it takes alot of work and $. I turned into a track bike so just run 08-09 Armour Bodies track fairings and 09 white tank.
It may not be worth the great deal your getting for the fairings. you need-

08-09 Headlights (slightly different shape)
08-09 upper stay
08-09 tank
08-09 seats (both are shaped differently than 06-07)
08-09 subframe (seat will not bolt in without it)
08-09 small L shaped brackets by the rearsets on both sides and
a few other small little brackets here and there.

It's really not that hard once you have all the parts though.
