rider down after hit and run 288/beltway
Deputies said the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on the South Freeway service road when he made a left turn onto the South Beltway 8 to travel westbound. The other driver made a wide left turn from the inside northbound lane and hit the motorcyclist, who then slammed into the curb and slid along the road.
you may hate jerry sandusky but at least he drove slow through school zones

Deputies said the driver left the scene without stopping.

The car that hit the motorcycle is described only as a medium-sized, light gray, four-door passenger car. It will likely have damage on the right side from the collision.

Anyone who saw the crash or has information about the case is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office Hit and Run Division at

713-674-5393 .
