How much for a 125 Shifter cart?

How much do you think I could get a cheap 125 shifter cart for? One of my best friends got in a bad accident and cant ride bikes anymore.

When I have looked for 125 shifters this is kind of what I've found. A cheap one, maybe $2500 (probably needs some maintenance), a decent one, maybe $3500-4000 (usually in good shape and ready to go), a good one $5500 and up (would be competitive to race).

You can always go to MSRH and rent one so he can see if he likes it before jumping into a purchase.
