wreck on 529

Friday my brother-in-law got into a accident in front of the high school on 529. Some chick not looking pulled out in front of him and caused the van in front to slam on there brakes so he swerved to miss the van but got hit by a car next to him. Both bones in his left arm have a compund fracture, left leg has a compound fracture, left foot is broken, and he's got like 20 staples in his head. He was life flighted to herman because he blacked out and they they didnt know if he had any internal injuries. I always try to avoid going by there when them dumbass kids get out because I have seen mutiple accidents ther plus have almost gotten hit mutiple times myself because those stupid kids dont look and just pull out full speed.. You would think that they would atleast post up a couple cops to direct traffic.. Last, as many times as you tell people to wear there helmet and they still dont, maybe now he will listen.. If he had been wearing his helment his head would be ok and if he was wearin a jacket it would not have stoped a broken bone but atleast he would not have road rash.. by the way he was riding a Harley Dyna Glide

Hope he has a full recovery.
got to be thinking defensively all the time when on a bike. schools are bad place to not be defensive.
"I get a total charge out of inspiring others to follow their dreams and not to fear change. Embrace it. Realize that money isn't the end-all, be-all. What is important, what really has value, is Time. As motorcyclists, we all face increased risks on the road, and on the track. Do something with your time; don't have a bag full of regrets when the train comes to a stop. "
